Clown Tree Frog Care
When acclimating your Clown Tree Frogs in captivity, it is important to provide proper care. This includes a spacious terrarium with plenty of climbing areas and foliage. An 12x12x18 is great for 1-2 Adult Frog. Make sure to include plenty of hiding places and visual barriers to make your frogs feel secure and a zoomed water dish to help with humidity, you may notice your frogs soaking too. Paper Towel is preferred for newly acclimating frogs, established frogs can be kept on a natural substrate like Reptisoil. The enclosure should be misted daily by hand or misting system to maintain high humidity levels of 60-70%. Monitor humidity with a hydrometer. The temperature should be kept constantly between 74-76° F. Temperatures above 80°F are detrimental to the frogs' health. Monitor temperature with a temperature gauge. They are insectivores and feed on a diet of live insects such as gut loaded small (⅓”) crickets or flightless fruit flies dusted with vitamin powder.
